Our featured artist,                        ,is a Louisiana native and 19 year Arizona transplant. In 1992, equipped with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree and 3 years of graphic design experience, Melanie moved to Arizona with high hopes and a low budget.

Three short months later, she found a great job working as a full time, in-house graphic designer - where she continues to work after nearly 17 years. In her spare time, Melanie is also a freelance artist who provides custom, website-design services to a variety of independent businesses across the nation.

Her overwhelming love of color, texture, a wagging tail and a cold nose finally combined and translated onto the canvas in the form of her one of a kind, original, acrylic paintings.

Melanie’s goal is to create images that pop, demand attention and inspire the viewer to walk away smiling!
